Our most popular wine for five years in a row, this 2022 blend of Chambourcin, Merlot, and Petit Verdot may be the best vintage yet. Fruity with faint hints of earthiness and leather on the nose, the palate experiences a lovely balance of acidity and tannins along with flavors of red berries. 50% Chambourcin, 37.5% Merlot, 12.5% Petit Verdot. Aged 10 months in neutral French oak.

Our 2022 Cabernet Franc starts with soft floral notes on the nose, before waking your palate with pleasing, peppery spice, and a lingering finish. This light-to-medium bodied wine was aged in a combination of new and neutral French Oak. 100% Valley Road Vineyards estate fruit. 

This vintage of Monticello’s increasingly recognized special varietal produced a surprisingly approachable wine. After two-plus years in French Oak barrels, the restrained tannins make this wine easy to enjoy on its own, and a perfect pairing for beef, pork, and rich cheeses. Monticello AVA.   

A wine rich in antioxidants, the 2021 Tannat has an aromatic nose of black fruit. Its medium body is complemented by medium acidity and refined tannins. Aged 20 months in neutral oak.

Crafted in the Beaujolais style, this is an easy-drinking, lower tannin red that is enjoyable slightly chilled. All the better to bring out a bold burst of cherry on the nose and palate.
