Our first Meritage release is a complex red blend in the Bordeaux tradition. Aged 18 months in French Oak, the supple tannins ensure that this wine will develop and drink well for years to come. Silver Medalist, 2018 and 2019 Virginia Governor’s Cups.

A bold dark fruit nose and subdued tannins lead to a soft mouth feel and a long finish. This big Virginia red is 100% Petit Verdot and, with nearly two years in oak prior to bottling, it is a wine that will not be overpowered. Dark fruit on the nose, with medium body. This blend features acidity mid-palate and medium+ tannins. 50% Petit Verdot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec. 50% new oak, 50% neutral, with 20 months in barrel. Will continue to age for 5 plus years. Monticello AVA.

Cabernet Franc is the #1 planted varietal in Virginia. Our 2023 Reserve vintage offers violet notes on the nose, followed by a lively palate of white pepper and fresh berries, and a long, pleasing finish. Aged 20 months in 20% new French oak.

Our truest expression yet of a Monticello Chardonnay. Malolatic fermentation, plus aging in new, second year, and neutral French Oak, creates a classic Chardonnay. The nose has pronounced aromas of toasted vanilla, followed by green apple on the palate, and a bright, lush finish. 100% estate fruit. Monticello AVA.

This elegant medium-bodied Merlot offers pleasing notes of cherry on the nose and is smooth on the palate, with refined tannins on the finish. Aged in French oak, this wine was made from 100% Valley Road Vineyards estate fruit from the Grayson Vineyard. Monticello AVA.

Clear and bright appearance. The nose delivers citrus notes. Medium body and bright acidity on the palate, finishing with a light, flinty feeling. Aged in neutral oak. 13% ABV

Made with 100% Cabernet Franc from our Afton South Vineyard, the 2024 Rosé is an elegant pale ballet pink, with a light scent of rose petals. Bone dry, the palate offers hints of stone fruit with a pleasing acidty. Monticello AVA. 

A "celebration" in a bottle, this is a forced carbonation wine -- meaning the lovely Viognier wine is infused with carbon dioxide to bubbly perfection. Crisp, refreshing, and fun.
